Il Palazzo è detto “Konak”, per il suo stile arabeggiante, è
un termine turco che indicava le sedi dei governatori
dell’Impero Ottomano, residenze importanti e
rappresentative. Secondo la tradizione locale fu costruita
per i Lomellini e doveva occuparsi della
lavorazione del corallo proveniente da Tabarca.
Il Palazzo, come Villa Granara, sono nel circondario della
località detta Tre Ponti.
The Palace is called
"Konak", due to its Arabic
style, it is a Turkish term that indicated the
seats of the governors of the Ottoman Empire,
important and representative residences.
According to local
tradition, it was built for
the Lomellini and had to deal with the
processing of coral from
Tabarca. The Palace,
like Villa Granara, are in the vicinity of the
locality called Tre
Ponti.
