Purtroppo non ci sono molte notizie relative a questo ponte, le fonti sono quasi solo orali. Il ponte è chiamato “ponte Napoleone”, per questo si pensa che sia stato costruito in epoca napoleonica, verso la fine del 1700, però le persone anziane pensano che risalga al 1500/1600. E’ definito “ponte a schiena d’asino” chiamato così per la forma a saliscendi somigliante alla schiena di un asino. Attualmente consente l’attraversamento del fiume quando si percorre la via secondaria, non aperta al traffico delle auto, che sbuca nella località Chiesino dove si congiunge con la via principale che porta a San Carlo di Cese. Questo ponte fu danneggiato dall’alluvione che colpì Genova nel 1993, ma fu successivamente ristrutturato e ripristinato.
