La Villa Igea (prima Forbes) è uno dei
primi 15 villini costruiti e venduti nel 1902 dalla "Società
dei Villini" in Corso Umberto (ora Viale Modugno). Negli
anni '20 divenne Villa Tirrenia. Negli
anni '30 era adibita a casa di cura per il reumatismo ed
altritismo come Istituto del Dott. Munari. Dopo
la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, priva delle torrette è diventata
una villa privata e residenziale. Villa Igea (formerly Forbes) is one of the first 15 villas built and sold in 1902 by the "Società dei Villini" in Corso Umberto (now Viale Modugno). In the 1920s it became Villa Tirrenia. In the 1930s it was used as a nursing home for rheumatism and arthritis as the Institute of Dr. Munari.
