I "villini Vecchi" di Pegli cominciano a delinearsi lungo
Corso Umberto dai primi anni del '900 e si arrampicano sul
colle pił' famoso del quartiere ossia la "Vetta". Dei
manufatti preesistenti e risalente al Medioevo notiamo in
posizione dominante e visibile da molteplici punti del
quartiere, il "Castellaccio". Altri plessi dei Villini
Vecchi sono rintracciabili nella sezione "Alberghi e
Pensioni" (es. la pensione
Beauregard e l' Hotel Forbes/Igea). The construction of the "Villini Vecchi" (old villas) began along "Umberto" Avenue in the early 1900s and they climb the most famous hill in the neighborhood, the "Vetta". Of the pre-existing buildings dating back to the Middle Ages, we note the "Castellaccio" in a dominant position and visible from many points of Pegli.
