Un piccolo raggruppamento di case all'inizio della Val
Varenna forma i Tre Ponti, così chiamato per la presenza
appunto di tre ponti, uno sulla strada di fondovalle, uno
sul rio Cantalupo e quello settecentesco che collega Villa
Granara al Palazzo Konak, accanto alle quali, allineate
lungo il torrente, sorgono antiche abitazioni contadine. A
Tre Ponti la strada si porta sulla sponda sinistra del
torrente, che non abbandonerà più per l'intero percorso
della Val Varenna.
"Tre Ponti" is a small hamlet located at the beginning of the Varenna Valley in the western part of Genoa. The name "Tre Ponti", which means "three bridges" in Italian, comes from the presence of three bridges in this area. One bridge is located on the main road, another bridge crosses the "Cantalupo" stream, and the third bridge, which dates back to the 18th century, connects "Villa Granara" to the "Konak" Palace. Near these buildings there are some old farmhouses that are aligned along the stream. In this place the road leads to the left of the stream and continues along the Varenna Valley. |
